In Citation tracking, Smart Embed Code by Xu CuiLeave a Comment

We’re excited to announce an update to our citation widget (Smart Embed Code) that will keep users engaged on your site longer, boosting your website’s SEO.

Previously, when users clicked a citation, they were redirected to the journal’s website, taking them away from your page. Now, thanks to our latest update, clicking a citation displays the paper’s details right on your website through a clean, simple interface. This creates a smoother experience while keeping users engaged with your content.

The paper detail box provides all essential academic paper information in a clean, elegant popup interface. When users click a citation, they’ll see:

  • Paper title and publication details (journal & date)
  • DOI and PubMed ID numbers (and the links)
  • A clear and big “Read Full Article” button
  • The complete abstract
  • Author list

The information is thoughtfully organized with plenty of white space, making it easy to read and navigate. The simple, minimalist design ensures that readers can quickly find the information they need without feeling overwhelmed. The popup appears smoothly over your existing content and can be easily closed when finished.

This modern, user-friendly interface enhances the reading experience while keeping your users engaged with your content.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you want to show your citation library on your website.
