We have an app called Stork and it’s a new publication alert service for life science researchers. We send 1.2 million emails per month and thus have accumulated a lot of experience on email sending. One particular lesson we learned is that we need to understand there are two types of emails when communicating with customers, Marketing Email and Transactional Email. These two types of emails need to be treated differently. Here we created an infographic of the two types of email.
